Stealth Networking and Zero Trust

The shortest path bridging amendment provides for some security improvements to networking that many people may not be aware of. When we take advantage of its hyper-segmentation, backbone encapsulation, and layer in edge-based 802.1x authentication, we achieve new levels of control and visibility.



About our speaker: 

Michael Votaw is a principal systems engineer with Extreme Networks. His focus is on providing a security focus to network design and he applies his decade with the Regional Cyber Center - Europe in helping people build and maintain more secure networks. Mike works with some of the world's most influential U.S. DoD environments and spends his time educating and improving those systems.
